Rosenthal Represents is currently seeking new properties, brands and character licenses to place in a variety of product categories. We look forward to meeting licensors, consultants and corporations looking to open a West Coast division.

To date, partners Rosenthal & Sandier have gained considerable expertise in developing and negotiating sound licensing deals across broad markets. The merchandising and licensing business they have successfully built heretofore is a full-time operation: they strategically research manufacturers on an individual basis, creating synergistic relationships with both artist/property and product lines. The firm maintains a great many contacts, and long-standing relationships with sub-agents and manufacturers in diverse merchandise fields to create ongoing excellent opportunities for their clients.

With a Masters in Art Education from Stanford University and a BA in Art and Education from Queens College along with thirty years as an agent to illustrators and graphic designers , twenty five of which were in merchandise licensing, Elise  has the training, experience, and insights to be your mentor and licensing coach.

Understand your special talents and your specific hands-on coaching needs to prepare you for licensing. Help you choose the best markets for your artwork based on your strengths/interests and market opportunities/needs.

Identify potential licensees in key categories. Guide you through key potential licensee websites lending insights on why the art on the sites was chosen and why it works.
Help you create or modify your artwork to work on these sites via real assignments. Critique these assignments explaining why a piece of art is successful and what needs to be revised.
Encourage you to research the works of other artists in the same field. Help you work out real projects and show the best ones to her current licensees.
Develop a coaching plan specific to your needs and how many markets you would like to pursue. Advise you on your market readiness. Potentially invite you to join the Rosenthal Represents roster of artists.
